Linden Edwards is a South Australian visual artist working with wax, fibre and textiles to create contemporary work with an interplay of texture and local iconography.  Her visual vocabulary is informed by observations of nature, environmental issues and memory. Text is often incorporated to create a dialogue between the natural environment and human interaction and intervention within it. Works in both fibre and wax are deliberately tactile and textural, a counterbalance to our increasingly digital world.
